Caydan Capital Partners Leads $3.5 Million Series Seed Funding for MitoSense Inc.

Funding will support MitoSense’s work in mitochondrial health and potential treatments for ALS and other neurodegenerative diseases

PLYMOUTH, Mass., Jan. 22, 2024 /PRNewswire/—Caydan Capital Partners has led a Series Seed Funding Round for MitoSense Inc., a research and development company focused on treatments for neurodegenerative diseases. The round raised close to $3.5 million and will support MitoSense’s continued advancement of its proprietary Mitochondria Organelle Transplantation, or MOT™, technology, which transplants healthy mitochondria into damaged cells with the goal of restoring cellular energy metabolism and function. MOT™ is designed to treat Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) with promising potential to treat other neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, and Multiple Sclerosis.
